The view of the surroundings was breathtaking, with beautiful gardens and a serene atmosphere. The cottage itself was modern yet had a charming farmhouse feel. The host was extremely accommodating, even providing us with BBQ facilities during the winter. The cottage was spotlessly clean and equipped with everything we needed. It was the perfect getaway from the hustle and bustle of London.
Although not major issues, the double bed in the cottage did squeak a bit, which could be slightly annoying. the water pressure in the bathroom could have been better.

The surroundings were so beautiful, perfect for hiking with my friends. We had a blast exploring the stunning gardens and even spotted some cool wildlife like squirrels and ducks. The hosts were super friendly and made us feel right at home. Can't wait to come back for more adventures!
The only thing we wished for was a better nightlife scene nearby. Being young party-goers, we were hoping for some exciting clubs or bars to keep the fun going after our hikes.

The breakfast could be improved with the addition of fresh milk in the fridge for late arrivals.

The view over the lake and the modern farmhouse feel of the cottage were amazing. The accommodation was clean, well-equipped, and had comfortable beds. The location provided a tranquil and peaceful atmosphere, with beautiful gardens and opportunities for woodland walks. the stay was a wonderful and relaxing experience.
Although the cleaning of the cottage was satisfactory, we found that some areas were overlooked, such as dirty light switches and a grill pan with crumbs. the absence of a welcoming pack or any basic provisions, like milk in the fridge, was a disappointment.

Beautiful surroundings and stunning views. Convenient location near historical attractions and the coast. - Friendly and responsive hosts. - Comfortable and well-furnished accommodation. - Enjoyed feeding the ducks and watching wildlife.
Inconvenient downstairs bathroom for older guests and narrow stairs. Difficulties exiting the double bedroom due to a sloping ceiling.

The cottage itself was absolutely beautiful, with a stunning view of the duck ponds. I loved waking up to such a picturesque setting and having my own living space. The design of the Duck House was impeccable, with every detail carefully thought out. I particularly enjoyed watching the storm through the skylights, it was such a peaceful experience. The location was also ideal for me, with Hever Castle and other historical sites nearby. Despite not getting a chance to meet the owner, Biz, in person, she was always friendly and responsive to my emails. I highly recommend the Duck House. It's a unique and charming alternative to staying in a boring hotel chain, and I will definitely be returning. Thank you for a wonderful stay!
